Micah Malan is a modern-day pioneer, entrepreneur, and activist specializing in cannabis production and the surrounding industries, music promotion and Live entertainment services. From business to activism, Micah’s roots run deep. In 1996, Micah began lobbying for medicinal cannabis retail rights in Napa County. That same year Micah was in a tragic car accident, which left him paralyzed. Unwavered, at 25, under the instruction of local entrepreneur George Altimura, Micah became the Owner & Operator of Galaxy Park: a 42 unit, multi-use, residential housing community in Clearlake Ca.
Micah proceeded to co-found several iconic businesses and organizations before immersing himself in the cannabis industry. In 2001, Micah co-founded the non-profit organization, Napa Spinal Cord Injury Network or NSCIN, of which he is now the Vice President. NSCIN serves Napa and Sonoma Counties, providing a network dedicated to educating newly injured paraplegics, quadriplegics and their loved ones to help those with a new spinal injury transition into a new lifestyle and providing solutions and resources to overcome daily challenges. He founded Lo*Cal Productions 2005, specializing in live entertainment and live event services, including ADA compliance. In 2012, Micah became the Co-Founder and Part-Owner of BottleRock and accepted the invitation to serve on the Committee for Napa Porchfest, a non-profit community event featuring local bands on local porches.
